Our direction is models and apps people own, with useful operation independent of recurring subscriptions and continuous internet access. Processing on personal hardware reduces the need to send everyday inputs to a cloud inference service.
Privacy and independence are design questions, not footnotes. We want technology to respect the person using it and to keep their choices in view as the work evolves.
